Position: Financial Analyst, Mid to Senior
Key Role:
Apply cost estimating techniques to develop cost models, life cycle cost estimates, and cost/benefit, risk, and business case analyses to support acquisition planning, budget development, and ad hoc drills for Department of Defense, Navy, SPAWAR PEO C4I clients. Identify and analyze potential problems and recommend solutions, while providing back-up data and supporting analyses.
Functional/Industry Knowledge:
Required
- Ability to be organized, proactive, and detail-oriented in a fast-paced financial environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
Preferred
- Experience working in a DoD, Navy, and/or SPAWAR environment.
- Knowledge of DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process.
- Experience with and working knowledge of DoD acquisition and life cycle cost estimating methodologies (ACAT program experience preferred)
- Experience with industry-specific tools (e.g. SEER, PRICE, ACEIT)
Education/Certifications or equivalent required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, or related field required; MBA or MA/MS preferred.
- Cost estimating, project management, and/or acquisition certification or course completion preferred.

Salary & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.

Key Role:
